Since I last posted, TONS has happened. Campamento numero dos happened, and was incredible. I learned a ton about being patient, about working on a team, and about attitudes that need to change in my life. I'm really thankful that Campamento was at the end of the summer, because it felt like I had more of a relationship with the kids, so it was easier to love them well.

Sunday and Monday were days off (aka the best of days). I spend most of my time writing in coffee shops or wandering around Antigua, probably while eating a Frosty.

Yesterday afternoon we said goodbye to our host families, which was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. Ana and Catie were the sweetest little girls, and Diego is a chunky cute-but-bratty little brother. Luis drove us to the airport, and then we headed off to Cuidad Mexico! (ps I changed my phone language to Spanish so that means I'm fluent now right??)

This morning our flight landed in Canada about 6:30, and we arrived at the Ark a couple hours later. A couple of us were standing in the kitchen (like we used to every day in asparagus season) discussing how, now that we're back home, it feels like we never left.

Since we didn't really sleep on the flight last night/this morning (does that count as my first all-nighter? I dunno...), today is mostly a rest day. This post is relatively short due to debrief starting up at 15:30 and the fact that I volunteered to go first so I should really figure out words ayyy.

PS photos coming soon because for some reason all 2557 of them don't fit on one blog post
