Week 6 is done!! or 7? or something?
Highlights of this week -
1. WE FINISHED COSTCO
This means that we filled all of our Costco orders for this season, so we no longer need to weigh and tag Costco bunches. WHOOOO! Now those of us who were on the Costco line are floaters, so we fill in for people who are missing / wherever help is needed.
2. WE HAD GUATEMALA NIGHT
This week for one of our team nights we learned who we're living with, what the school looks like, all that jazz. SO EXCITING. This is my third time going to Guat, but this is the first time I'll be staying in a house. (previously I have always stayed in the former school building, a super nice/secure/clean/large area with gardens and lovely amounts of space) My roommates are Chelsea and Whitney, which will be super fun. A couple people are a little nervous / feeling overwhelmed / flat out scared about Guat. I'm mostly excited, but there's a bit of me that's nervous.
I don't think it's really sunk in yet that we're leaving in TWO WEEKS (July 4) YAHHHH
3. I WENT TO MARKET
I'm always thankful for the days I am able to spend outside (even if it's 70819 degrees and sunny and crazy).
Thanks for all of your prayers!
-keep praying for our team as we continue to get to know each other better
-pray for strength and energy to finish off strong in the barn (potentially early next week?)
-pray for calmed nerves and for a spirit of peace in our team was we prep for Guat
PS Happy Father's Day to all y'all dads out there!!
